Rising Scholars of CLS Pre-Conference Meetup
July 6th, 2021
Wendy Roldan, Jaleesa Trapp, and Dr. Mimi Ito are organizing a ‘Rising Scholars of CLS’ meet up at the Connected Learning Summit 2021 on July 6, 2021.
The purpose of the event is to hold space for diverse graduate students and postdocs in the CLS community to connect with supportive mentors and peers with shared experiences and backgrounds. We invite scholars who bring the assets of their communities and lived experience to CLS, and are committed to scholarship that gives back to their communities. The event will take place on July 6th from 9am-2pm PDT and we will virtually provide lunch for attendees.
This is the first time we are hosting Rising Scholars of CLS event therefore we will limit the number of people who can attend to provide a welcoming experience and promote cohort building.
