Exploration Lab: A participatory design research for human-centered solutions

The Exploration lab is truly participatory design research. Done by the target group and stakeholders themselves, looking at their own experiences. The Exploration lab has the aim to listen, see and be open to find new angles to build innovative solutions. The Exploration lab is developed by Butterfly Works, based on its more than 20 years of experience in designing interactive communication solutions for social change, applying participatory design research methods. By co-creating with stakeholders, every solution is based on shared values and people’s needs. It means that all our work is tailor-made; always human-centered.
For our session Connected Learning Summit Workshop session we would use selected tools and content from the Exploration Lab methodology to spark co-creation and innovative approaches to complex realities. We hope that with the session, we can inspire participants to use human-centered design to navigate complexities while finding new angles for human-centred
