Coding and Concepts with Java Puzzle Ball

It’s used alongside various Java programming courses utilizing the scan-focus-act learning methodology. The game seeks to demystify complex computer science topics by secretly building robust conceptual models in students’ minds as they play. Courses debrief students, revealing how their observations reflect Java programming and transitions them to work confidently with actual Java code. Key concepts Java Puzzle Ball helps students understand are: object-orientation and class design, static vs instance variables, inheritance and polymorphism, lambda expressions and functional programming, and multithreading.
